why are both PDF24Creator and the fax service free? who is funding it? the software developers and the hosting web service cost money.

The fax service is free but very limited. We will add some new features to this service within the next few days which extends the current service and for which you have to pay for. This will be the first thing where people have to pay for because this can't be made freely available.

The PDF24 Creator is a free software since the first release which. The first version has been released some years ago. A lot of people love the software which will also be freely available in the future.
