How to keep original file name when using auto save?
When I print a PDF using the Auto-Save feature, the file name it gives is based on the printing time (ex. 2013-11-08 10-04-49). How to make it to keep the original name?
Thanks
Hi,
normally you can use the following auto save format:
%Y-%m-%d %H-%M-%S $fileName
%Y = Year like 2013
%m = Month like 11
%d = Day like 01
%H = Hour like 16
%M = Minutes like 59
%S = Seconds like 34
$fileName = Name of the original file if available
The last placeholder $fileName stands for the file name which was determined from the printer interface.
If the name is available then the placeholder will be replace with the original file name. If the name is not available, then the placeholder is simply removed.

Hello. You can set the file name from the program that launches printing.
Examples of filenames :
Invoice - 20015-0001
Balance of 01/01/2014 to 06/01/2142
Customers low : 31- 1-2015
This is because the name generated by default is always the same and would need automatically change before printing.
Thank You

Hola.
Gracias
