No emailed authentication code - why?

It says it emailed an authentication code, but nothing was received. Not in spam, nowhere.

I gave my correct email address, and it requires an authentication code to log in. But although the site says it was sent, it wasnt received. I checked spam on the server, my PC, etc. I tried installing again, in case I had entered a typo in my email, but it said that email was already taken - clearly Id done it right. So, whats going on? I even tried registering for the Forum, but had the same problem. Im using an earthlink email address.
