difficulty loading software

After many reminders just downloaded the updated version. However, when I go to install it the installer tells me pdf24 already running and to close it in order to continue installation. I go to task manager, find pdf24 and close it - and it closes the installer!!!!

A new version normally closes the pdf24.exe automatically and normally that works like a charm. Who knows why that was not working on your PC. Could be a temporarily effect or a lock on the file or something like that.
