Why does scanned images for import do not come thru PDF24?

In PDF24 Creator (Ver 4.4.3) after clicking on FileImportFrom Scanner or camera..., HP starts scanning image using Twain (default program for HP). Once scan is complete, when clicked on the Finish button on the HP scan program, the application hangs and only way to get out of this hold is thru Task Master kill. Any idea what can be done to resolve this difficulties?

The new PDF24 Creator 4.9 fixes several bugs in the import from scanner or camera. Please try this version. I think it works now.

The coming PDF Creator 5.3 brings some new fixes for some GUI issues and some other odd side effects when importing files from scanner or camera.
