Does the PDF24 software license permit deployment to virtual machines?
I am contacting you on behalf of an academic institution. We are investigating our software deployment options and I am hoping that you could provide feedback on whether the PDF24 license agreement permits the deployment methods below.
1. Virtual desktops accessed on laptops or tablets. The software might reside on a:
• Student, faculty and or university owned laptop/tablet
• University owned server
• Third party server
2. Cloud computing (accessed from a university or thrid party run service).
3. Download (a link from the university website that directs to a university server).
For the third party services referred to above, are there any restrictions that would prevent us from selecting a company with servers residing outside of Canada and the USA?
