How do I edit a pdf file?

I downloaded pdf24, installed it and used it to edit a pdf file that I have. No-where do I see the word edit in this entire program, only insert, delete, rotate, convert etc. Nor can I edit the pdf file I opened.

What could I be doing wrong?

PDF24 Editor can not edit the content of a PDF page. PDF24 Editor can only edit PDF files page-based. PDF24 Editor can do something with whole pages but with the content of a page.
