When I insert a 8.5x11 jpeg into an existing pdf and then read the file the jpeg page is larger than the other pages
I have a PDF document that has a page in the middle requiring a physical signature. The security settings will not allow placing a graphic on the page. I have printed this page signed it and scanned it in. I edit the original file and the jpeg with PDF24. Then I replace the page in the original with the page from the jpeg. Everything looks fine. However when I read the file in adobe reader 7.0 as I page down to the replaced page all the other pages become smaller and only the replaced page is full size. I have tried scanning the page in at a less resolution but it doesnt seem to make any difference. Help please!
Which version do you use? We have slightly changed this part in version 3.6.0. Currently we optimize images to A4 paper format. If your other pages are A4 too then the paper size of the added image and of the other pages should match.
In previous version we had no optimization to a special per format which could result in very large pages and which was bad when adding images into papers with fixed page size.
If you do not use a version of the PDF24 Creator above 3.6 then update to the latest version and try again.
If your paper has a different page size than A4 then you have the same problem as you described above. In such a case you can do a workaround. Print the image in the PDF24 PDF printer which will create a new PDF based on the images. In printer dialog you can choose the paper size of the final PDF final. Choose the one which matches the paper size of the file into which you would like to insert the image.
To make the usability better we have planed to add an option into the preference pages to choose the paper format to which the Image To PDF feature should optimize the converted images.
