what is the format for sending a fax from my computer to a business fax that does not have PDF Home fax?

Please tell me step by step because I am confused I tried to send a PDF earlier but had no luck, I downloaded everything and maybe I put the destination # in wrong, I live in Canada, and will probably only send faxes within Canada, Do you send me this by email/fax. I am confused, It must be too easy.

The +1 is required, because currently PDF24 does not use you location to form the final international number, so you have to enter the full international number in E164 Format. That format includes the +1 international code.

I tried sending a fax, but do I have the fax number destination wrong, I live in Canada, so for example, my destination fax no is 250-354-1666, is that the number I put in or do I have to add a 1 before the number? Please tell me because I need to know the proper steps Thx
