Fax number (Free call in Italy said Green Number)

Why I cant send a fax to an Italian Green Number? i.e. 800900179. I wrote +39/800900179.

It appears being impossibile to send a fax to a Green Number as 800900179 (corresponding to National Electric Company).
Green Numbers in Italy are free calls.

This numbers doesn't seem to be free for us and so we have blocked this numbers until we could clarify that.

I have send a fax to an italy green number and I have received your confirm that says "Your fax has been transmitted successfully.
The transmitted fax is appended to this email as a PDF and Tiff file.

Date: 2013-03-18 10:18:18

That means my fax has been sent correctly?
