Document both signed and with pdf/A standard?

How to put a signature in a pdf/A document without losing the pdf/A properties (ISO)?

I produced a pdf/A file in pdf24, saved it and closed the program. Then, i signed it in the same program and the result was a normal pdf file signed without the pdf/A ISO requirements. I Can´t figure it out why can´t have a file both PDF/A & signed. Thank you! Pedro P. arq@ofiarte.pt

Oh yes, that's a nice thing but I think this is currently not possible.

Hm maybe it would be better if PDF/X and PDF/A options are part of the PDF output filter and not in it's own one.

I'll think that over.

Of course you can...

The PDF standard FULLY SUPPORTS digital signatures and in fact many tools (such as Adobe Acrobat/Reader) enable the ability to properly sign your PDF/A documents while remaining compliant with the standard.
